CHATEAU LE CHIEN The ASID Palm Springs/Inland Valley chapter present "Chateau Le Chien" at a private residence in Mirada Estates, Rancho Mirage, CA. This barking cocktail and hors d'oeuvres evening will feature the creativity of the ASID designers as they display wonderful, fanciful, creative "chateaus" for your favorite canine. During the evening, the chateaus will be judged by a group of celebrity judges and awarded ribbons of excellence. The chateaus will be placed the next morning at Fashion Week's "Le Chien" and available for sale at a silent auction with the proceeds benefitting the Humane Society of the Desert and the ASID Scholarship Fund. LE CHIEN Fashion Week El Paseo opens the 2012 season on Saturday, March 17, 2012 with the first ever "Le Chien." This animal lovers' event will begin with a "Doggy Beauty Bash," where local pet salons perform their magic on dogs in the Big White Tent. This will be followed by "Kibbles and Champagne" for the owners while we set the stage for the Le Chien fashion show. Expect to see large and small, pedigree and mutt strutting their stuff on the Fashion Week runway, all decked out in the latest dog fashions from top designers who specialize in dog couture. All net proceeds will benefit the Humane Society of the Desert, a non-profit, no-kill animal sanctuary.
